Remove Rubber Grommet from Bong?

  1. I have this bong...Spiral Twist Glass Bong - Online Shop

I am wondering if I simply removed the rubber grommet, and plugged the carb and just let the bowl sit on top of the hole, would this not work as a slider? The only difference I can imagine is the air to clear it would be like a carb rather than a conventional slider because the air would rush on top of the water, rather than rush through it and bubble.

    Thanks for helping ^-^

  2. Try it.

The bowl on glass might not make a good enough seal though, but hey, its easy enough to put back in right?

  3. :) hopefully !

  4. It wouldn't pull the smoke through the water.
    But yes, it would work.

  5. They tend to be there for a reason, not being a smart arse but I've tried taking them of before, just leaves a bong that's not airtight

  6. next time get glass on glass
