Reddening stem

  1. I have a female plant that has been gowing quickly with healthy green leaves the entire way through but some parts of the stems are reddening. I want to clone this girl and was just wondering if there is anything wrong with the fact some of the nodes on the clones may be slightly red.

  2. Nope she's fine

  3. Is the plant otherwise healthy, with no yellowing leaves, burn spots, curl, etc? Reddening of stems can be a sign of phosphorus deficiency, but it can also be a normal characteristic of some strains. If its not showing any other signs of trouble, don't worry about it.

  4. no she has been a good grower the whole way through but the bottom leaves do tend to get yellow and I have had to pull a couple bottom fan leaves off in the past, this plant has never seen fertilizer and I just got some "bigfoot" 2 part and was wondering if its too late to use some of that. It already has preflowers so could I still use the grow fertilizer now that I have it back on 18-6??
