This is my first grow, i picked up some seeds from my friend for free which he said were trainwreck. Ive been growing them for the past two and a half months outside and ive noticed a difference in two of the plants and the other three plants. The two have reddish stems and besides that look completely healthy. Any ideas as to why they're different colored?
There are a few strains that are supposed to have purple/red fan leaf stems. I'm not familiar with Trainwreck and its properties. If it's not supposed to have purple stems, it is a deficiency, cal-mg or nitrogen. There is a fantastic book on the subject of sick plants. It is called MARIJUANA GARDEN SAVER, handbook for healthy plants, by J.C. Smith, edited by Ed Rosenthal. It will give you all of the info you need to identify and fix any problem with your ladies. It's a must read for growers.
