Red Hot Chili Peppers are for everybody!

  1. So...I recently made the dorkiest discovery ever- Red Hot Chili Peppers are INDEED the shit, and everybody should listen to 'em high at least once. Me and my boyfriend were listening to the By The Way album (on xbox 360 with AWESOME music visualizations) and I sat in the sweetest grooviest funkiest haze I've ever fucking been in! Stadium Arcadium is great too. I always liked them a lot but I never connected them with smoking weed, I'm glad I did!

    Here's proof....light it up!

  2. I agree, RHCP are very fun, sober or stoned, and that is a very good track.
Thanks for the video. Hadn't seen that before.

    XBox Visualizations are sweet huh?

Nothing like a good old JF live solo to cheer you up

  4. You rock!

Red Hot Chili Peppers are a fantastic band and deserve credit. Lots of great albums..

  5. I used to be in love with them but then I realized there are better bands out there (In my opinion). I'll listen John Frusciante's solo shit any day though.

  6. hell yes!! I've been jonesin' for him to record another solo effort. If he puts out another album of The Empyrean's caliber I might just shit myself. This is one musician who blows my mind with all of the great music he's put out over the years. And his last album was IMO his best work. Always a good sign that.

*goes and hits play on Curtains*

  7. I think John F.'s Ataxia project, Automatic Writing I and Automatic Writing II, are his best and most amazing work. With Josh Klinghoffer I believe, or some such. I can only listen to Empyrean as it was intended, front to back, no skipping, played LOUD, but I can pick singles from Ataxia any time, any day, like 'Sides', "Hands', etc. Here's one:

  8. ^word to that man - i do enjoy automatic writing one. There was a point a couple years ago I was listening to that album nonstop. You know, where an album is so unique and fresh it just stays with you? Yeah, it was with klinghoffer, same guy who replaced John in rhcp, did solos and helped with recording on stuff like Inside of Emptiness, and cowrote Sphere in the Heart of Silence with. still has some guitar but its electronic dominant, different from anything else. 1st track off that album: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0ySygPBD3E]YouTube - 01 - John Frusciante & Josh Klinghoffer - Sphere (A Sphere In The Heart Of Silence)[/ame]

  9. One hot Minute is my favorite Peppers album.

Flea played some amazing shit on that one, and I've always loved Dave Navarro.

Most Peppers fans I know dont like that album, it was their last great album IMO.....
