    I just beat the mission where I crossed the Mexico border and I called for my horse after the mission and he came to me! Haha how would the horse gotten to Mexico? Did he swim?!

    Smart horse. He was probably tailing you, but out of sight as to not give away his position, just waiting for you to whistle.
