I did a cursory search and didn't find a thread related directly to music to listen to while tripping (lets say lsd/mushrooms). I'm tripping with some friends this Friday, and I was looking for some more bands to listen to while on the trip. Thus far my personal recommendations are: Grateful Dead - Just trust me on this one - listening to the Grateful Dead tripping is like listening to Pink Floyd while high. The Beatles - specifically the albums following revolver Led Zeppelin - Live is my personal choice Phish - see Grateful Dead Pink Floyd - Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall are my preference String Cheese Incident - See Phish Daft Punk - Techno can be quite fun. Infected Mushroom - see Daft Punk Jimi Hendrix - Genius.

Leemur, Infected Mushroom is coming to the fox in like two weeks, cept it's 30 bucks...lame as for music... STS9, Younger Brother, Shpongle, Raja Ram, Aphex Twin, Bassnectar, Kasabian, Of Montreal, Blackmoth Super Rainbow, RJD2, The Shins, Sigur Ros, 1200 Micrograms, Infected Mushroom I have tripped mad sack to all of that and it was wonderful above all, if you do not have any Younger Brother get some.
The OP's list + iReeferR's is pretty much perfect and that's more or less what my play list looks like. I would maybe add a few other things in the same vane such as: Umphrey's McGee Moe. LCD Soundsystem Justice Simian Boombox Widespread Panic Gov't Mule Chemical Brothers Disco Biscuits Lotus Anything with Les Claypool (C2B3, primus, frog brigade, oysterhead, etc...) But mostly The Grateful Dead and STS9!!!!

DSOTM will always be my first choice. However, if you like Pink Floyd for tripping, you havn't lived until you've tripped to Meddle.

The Allman Brothers Band (Anything) I like Shpongle while tripping on Ketamine but for the most part shpongle and trance music is too overwhelming while tripping.
