I have a 50 dollar rebate check from t mobile, can I just go to a check cashing place and cash it? or do I need a bank account?
Yeah, but they charge a fee. Just set up a bank account, and you'll never have to worry about this shit. I work in a financial institution, and it's so frustrating, especially when I see 50 year old people coming in trying to cash a check with no accounts anywhere. Minimum balances aren't that high, and you'll always have a place, but might i suggest a credit union. But if that's not your cup of tee, check cashing places will do it for a certain percentage
