Quit smoking cigarettes, will my body go back to normal?

Discussion in 'General' started by ImAlwaysBaked, Jan 8, 2011.

  1. I quit smoking cigarettes for good about 4 months ago and im just gonna stick to bud, i dont need to smoke cigarettes and harm my body and help the tobbaco industry grow and i do feel better not always craving a cigarette (and not having to spend tons of money on packs) but im wondering if my body will heal itself (my lungs etc..) or if the damage done is permanent. I smoked about 6 cigarettes a day for 4 years but now im done for good. Although i do want to have a black and mild twice or i could even do it once a month. If i have a black and mild once a month will it harm me? Please only answer if you know, i dont wanna be mislead.
    Thanks :smoke:

  3.

The damage is already done. your lungs aren't going to magically heal themselves.

  4. Read the link in my post. ;)

  5. Not magically, no. But they do heal.

  6. Will they ever go back to before i even started smoking?

  7. It takes a while for your lungs to heal bro

and also I heard Black and Milds are like one of the worst
    for you.

Fuck it though I smoke like 2 cigarettes a month lmao

  8. I believe I've read that they do but I'm not 100% sure.
