I'm trying to germinate my seeds in an organic soil in solo cups, does anyone know of they need water drain slots like a normal pot? or no?
You'll want drainage. I melted about seven holes in the bottom of the solo cup with a battery powered soldering gun. It worked fine. Roots need oxygen, and too much water means no oxygen. Drainage.
