Alright so i started my seedlinss off with a 125 watt floresant light and its about time to switch to the 600W light. now my question is should i use my 600Watt HPs light or should i use my 600Watt metal halide light? thanks all.
The MH is for vegative growth so if you have both on hand use the MH. I would start out at about 24" above your plants and see how they adjust to the light and take a temp reading at the plant level to make sure they are not getting to hot. I recently started using a 600 watt HPS and I was getting my plants way to hot without even knowing it. Keep a close eye on your temps. Good Luck!
i agree with exactly maverick said, MH for Veg, HPS for flowering, and yes make sure u can figure a way to vent out the heat.
