How many of you have ever been busted or know of someone who's been busted for growing solely for personal use? I want to do it but it just doesn't seem like it's worth the risk. Unlike smoking which is just a misdemeanor and a $100 fine (maximum penalty; most cops just take the weed and let you off), cultivation is a felony with 1-3 years sentence. But is that law upheld or is it tossed off just like smoking weed in CA? And do they even care enough to bust someone who is just growing for personal use?
