ok so i have 3 plants vegging under a 400 watt hps. they are about 5 and a half weeks old and have been tied down so im not really sure on how tall they are. they are in soil. i was wondering if there was an estimate the yield of the plants. like how big should i let them get. i want to try and get 2 ounces off each plant.
As for how long you should veg your plants, that depends on how tall your grow space is. If it's confined, veg until your plant is 1/3 the height it can be and switch to flowering. It will double to triple in size during flower. There are too many variables to take into accout when judging a wet weight, estimating dry yield is damn near impossible. I would say half a gram per watt should be good to shoot for.
