Is it possible to bury the stem a couple inches into the ground so the roots are deeper. Will the stem become a root? Thanks
Yes you can transplant up to just below the cotyledons ( the two seed leaves) and the stem will generate more roots from the buried portion of the stem. Many people use this method of transplant when their plants have stretched before moving them to the larger container.
