Question about using pipe

    I am making a pipe.. and i was wondering if the carb hole has to be by the bowl? or if can it be at the lower end closer to the mouth.

    i think its cool your making a pipe, shows character. However, don't put it near the mouth, clean air has to get behind the smoke or it will just leave stale air in the pipe. the absolute back would be the best, but inconvenient.

    put in the most convenient place where you know it will be easy to cover while holding the pipe
