Question about seeding hermies..

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by d4nk, Jan 11, 2007.

  1. Hey all, I'm preflowering my plants right now and I think one of them may be a hermie.

My question is.. If I were to let it seed itself, would the seeds me feminized or would the plants also grow up to be hermies themselves??

I looked around and found some threads of people saying that they DO infact produce female seeds but one guy said it would produce more hermies.

Any help would be much appreciated!

  2. Pollinate the hermi with the male of your choice to produce feminized seeds.

  3. Damn I just killed one of my males..

So you're saying that if the pistils of the hermi get pollen from ANOTHER plant then the seeds will be feminized?. I'm guessing then if the pistils get pollinated by the pollen sacks on the hermie then the seeds WONT be feminized right?

    Thanks for the info anyways.

  4. I don't know about what TK said, but if you pollinate a fem with your hermie, you will have feminized seeds.

I think that if you pollinate your hermie with a male, you will likely have male/hermie seeds.

  5. I'd rather have to say I do believe Dirt King has it corretly answered.
