Question about scales

Discussion in 'General' started by hubba, Nov 4, 2010.

  1. What is the average price for these bad boys?
Could someone post a few links of scales they have,or heard good news about these?
I'm on walmart right now :p and found this?
Is this worth it? Or could I find a cheaper one?

    Here is a few below:
Walmart.com: Kitrics Basic Digital Scale: Kitchen & Dining

Walmart.com: Kitrics Three in One Digital Scale: Kitchen & Dining

Walmart.com: EatSmart Precision Pro Digital Kitchen Scale in Black / Chrome: Kitchen & Dining

I'm not sure if these are too pricy. Thanks guys :D

  2. A scale is a scale. As long as it weighs to the precise weight on grams. I usually would recommend buying a scale from your local Head Shop. Probably would run you 25-50 bucks. Depending on the model.

But any scale works w/grams. Just put a nickel on it and if it says .5 your good. Or a dollar weighs out to be 1 gram

  3. ebay...

I got mine there. It's digital, 100% accurate up to a pound (probably more, but that's what I measure out most often), and down to .01 of a gram, it's been used hard for about 6 years, and it cost me less than 5.00 bucks after shipping :)

  4. Amazon.... 100g X .01 grain..... $19...if you are a student get amazon prime for free two day shipping for free.
