I just noticed that the roots are growing out of the bottom of the pots. I know i have to transplant them but cant fot 2 more days. My question is will my plants survive a couple of days till im able to transplant them. The plants are blue rhinos and out grew the 1 gallon pots in only 9 days of veg. Im worried that since the roots are growing so fast that the plants might be seriously damaged. At least now i know not to transplant blue rhino seedlings into 1 gal. pots rather start them in 3 gallon pots.
They will be fine. I go from party cups to 3 gallon buckets and it's fine. I usually allow them to grow to be about 2-3 inches tall before transplant. It works fine. I've pulled ones out that have rooted all the way around the cup and they transplant fine.
