Sup GC, How close can a curled CFL (26 watt atm, maybe 40ish later) be in relation to PVC piping? I'm lookin at a few millimeters to a centimeter of clearance. Is that reasonable in an enclosed space? Would the PVC have a strength issues, or melting? Thanks.
i wouldn't be too worried. as long as its not touching the CFL. they dont get very hot at all, if you want to take the extra security measure just get a fan on the bulb, with a fan blowing on a CFL, even from like 5 feet away , the CFL doesn't get hot at all, more like warm to the touch. hope this helps.
