So its march here and its like 75 degree's out... But the light cycle only works for vegging right now right? so the only plant i could grow outside would be auto right?
Yes if you put a photoperiod plant outside right now it will begin to flower. https://forum.grasscity.com/threads/perpetual-closet-grow.1434897/
But it's 2 degrees here right now so I would be the wrong person to ask because I'm obviously much further north than you https://forum.grasscity.com/threads/perpetual-closet-grow.1434897/
If you start a plant outside now as a seed it will grow just fine. No one knows where you are in the world. If you are in the northern hemisphere you should be OK. The days are getting longer. You should read about longitude, latitude and photoperiod. These are annual plants. They sprout in the spring, grow vegetative during spring and summer and as the days get shorter going into fall start to flower towards the end of summer. Harvest is beginning of fall usually. Lighting schedules are not applicable unless you are doing a light depravation greenhouse.
Finishing times, Photoperiod, Latitude, and how it all works!! This will answer your question. Please read up.
