Question about nutes in a zero-veg setup

  1. So I finally took the plunge, I'm going zero-veg. Only took me about a year of dithering to just do it.

I'm wondering if maybe I should use a 'grow' nutrient mix to start my girls off; usually I'd switch 'em over to a 'bloom' mix when I flip my lights, and trust they had enough nitrogen, etc. to see them through the stretch, but in this case I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea to hold off on the 'bloom' formula for the first 10 days or so.

Thoughts? Anyone done this? And as long as I'm asking, anyone want to share their zero-veg nute formulas?

  2. if youre startn bloom use bloom nutes!!!!!!

  3. Start them off with tap water. No nutes. Or if ro water then 150ppm of nutes. Then a very light dose of bloom nutes once she calls for it. Nutes are nutes I have flowered healthy plants with veg nutes.

The best thing I know of to help limit the stretch is to keep them close to a MH light the first week or two of bloom or until you see the pre flowers and then go to the hps.
