Question about my bowl/pipe

Discussion in 'Smoking Accessories Q&A' started by BongBeast, Jun 24, 2009.

  1. I just picked up another bowl from a gas station and I had a question abot it. There like a lump on the side of it that my first one didn't have. I included a picture of it except its different colors. The side closest to the camera has the lump, you cannot see the carb. I thought maybe it was to balance the bowl but it doesn't do that so im just curious and it's kinda pissing me off now. what the fuck is it[IMG][IMG][IMG]

  2. it's called a bubble

and its there to rest your thumb atop, or below whatever your preference

  3. That.

  4. thats pretty much everything you need to know, the bubble is quite useful when your bowl gets really hot

  5. So it's basically just a heat resistor?

  6. pretty much, its not important but its a nice feature

  7. hmm. weird it says right at the bottom of the enlarged picture "glass_spoon_pipe_clear_bead". and yes its pretty much used for grip. but does come in handy when the spoon starts to get too hot to handle.
