LED lights are good when you have a very small space, and can't control the heat from other types of lights. They are very expensive, and won't give you better results than HID. The only reason to invest in them is if you can't control the heat in your grow space.
total nonsense. LED are utilized in massive commercial grows where heat production and control is no object. They give similar results. Not to mention the fact that you won't have to replace them. And yes they are expensive, but the saving on your electrical bill will eventually pay for the unit so if you got the money for it, buy them.
