I have a 9in desk fan that I have above the light so that the light itself doesn't get too hot to touch and to keep the plants' leaves from burning from the HPS. Is it bad for plants to get blown around? How much is too much wind? They don't bend over from the wind but the leaves do get a good shaking. Is this bad for it? Also, would it be wiser to angle the fan to cool the plants more or cool the light fixture more? I'm thinking most of the heat comes from the light so keeping it cool would help, but I could be totally wrong. Any insight is much appreciated.
