Question about Driver's License Concerning a Car Crash

  1. Let's say hypothetically, you rear ended someone. So the police come and file a report, you exchange insurance info, your insurance hits the roof, you almost have a heart attack when you find out how much you will be paying, and all of that. But what If the police officer does not write you a ticket? The DMV constantly states "conviction of moving violations" when discussing points on your license and other shit concerning your license. does that get counted as a "conviction of a moving violation" if you never got a ticket? How many points go on your license if any? How does that work? Thanks.

  2. Switch insurance companies, yes they can raise your insurance even if you are not ticketed, because insurance companies can find its your fault no matter what the police do!
