2 1/2*3*5. i want to add 2 more 3k boards for flower Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using Grasscity Forum mobile app
These are perfect! I was concerned a tad bit about the spacing but given your footprint these will work great! You add another two and you’re gonna love yourself for it! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
********Update******** Im so stoked! i love you all! First ever qb build i was nervous. But this is beautiful Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using Grasscity Forum mobile app
You’re about to rock that space out! Make sure you start high and low wattage and move down while increasing wattage as they age. Otherwise you’ll struggle to get vertical growth. These things are super intense. Makes it hard to get them to grow up because they’ve got the light they need so low! Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Thanks you have been a huge help i have mad respect and love for you! This was my first personal tent build, first qb build, and first grow is about to take off. Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using Grasscity Forum mobile app
I appreciate the love! Back at you blade!! You should start a journal in the journals section! If you do tag me I’ll subscribe and you’ll be able to get feedback from people as you go. I highly recommend it for newer growers it’s a big help. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I havent tried to adjust the mean well but do these numbers look good? I got them from this meter. Sent from my LM-Q710(FGN) using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Looks like what would be coming from the wall but you have to subtract the drop in efficiency in the driver to get actual output to the boards if you read at the driver input. The boards are likely getting about 8-9% less current then the wall draw. 2.17 x .09 = .1953amps. 2.17 - .1953 = 1.97 amps per board. Almost rated max. I'm surprised. Those drivers do push past their rated limits. Not sure if you know but they are rating in output of the driver not wall draw. That's where the 240 number comes from. They are around 90-91% efficient on 120volts so that adds another 9% or so to the wall draw. That's why HLG's fixtures based on that driver are called 260's. That's the approx wall draw.
