Will these seeds be as goos as the non fem seeds? Im just looking to grow them for the bud and not pollen and also I heard theres more chance for hermis with fem seeds is this true? RSVP PURPLE WRECK FEMINISED X 6
Feminized seeds from a reputable breeder are stablized and should be just as potent and no more likely to hermie than "regular" seeds of the same strain. The only difference is that with femmed seeds you can expect 100% females.
It has little predisposition to be hermie since one of the mothers was forced to hermie using gibralic acid, rather than it naturally hermaphroditing. And then that 'male' pollen from the female plant is used to knock up a healthy female that hasnt had any contact with acid or hermie traits. So there is no hermaphroditic traits passed on. The only reason people believe that feminized seeds have hermie genetics and traits is because if a plant is stressed or naturally a hermie then when it knocks up another female or seeds itself then those seeds are likely or more likely to become hermies...although they will still all be female, but more likely females with male flowers. But that is not how breeders make seeds.
