So this is my first grow. I germinated 4 bag seeds in pots and they sprouted about 5 days ago. They leaves look green and healthy, but the stem is purple. Does this mean anything?
starting to seem that purple stems are very common. know one can ever give a reason for why that is. think it just has to do with the plant ans strain. I got two different seeds from different sources. both grown in the same dirt getting the same water. one strain sprouted and stayed green in the stem while the other has a very purple stalk. since the stems and stalk are the strongest part of the plant, I don't have concern for the purple. I can only guess that if there were a problem the leaves would tell you this before the stalk would.
