hello everyone, im a first time grower doing outdoors and one of my mystery bag seed plants just started to show sex and some of the hairs are purple is there anyway to keep them purple late into flowering , i don't want them to turn brown or red / orange any ideas?
Not much you can do for that dude. It all has to do with genetics from that point!!! If it is a strain that naturally has purple pistals (hairs) like Purple Power then they will stay like that until it starts maturing at harvest. The hairs will change color then, nothing you can do about that. Of course you can water your plant with purple food coloring.... LMAO!!! I remember in grade school we did one of those experiments with flowers and gave them water with food coloring and it leached the water color into the petals of the flowers. But why would you want to?
