Psychill/Psybient

  1. Yeah they are great :smoke:

I dunno I don't really compare them to Shpongle.. Shpongle is a genre of their own.

  2. Check out Androcell. Best psy music I've heard since Shpongle

  3. yeah psybient rocks!

  4. first group of ppl I have ever known to know of Bluetech besides me and my friends

My friend runs a trippy music site and is lookin for underground artists with sounds like Shulman and Bluetech.

    Audio Fry » Shpongle

here's an unsigned guy with that ambient/psy kinda sound:
    Audio Fry » 7quidstudio

  5. Damn this is some good stuff

  6. I'm actually surprised at how small this list of artists on here is. I listen to alot of downtempo electronica, and there's a lot of it out there! (also think there might be another thread posted about this previously)

I've actually seen bluetech live, and met him. (He declined to smoke some fire blueberry when I asked him haha)

but here are some of my favorite artists to check out:

    Kick Bong
    Hallucinogen
    Ott
    Carbon Based Lifeforms
    Tycho
    Lights Out Asia
    Solar Fields
    Ulrich Schnauss
    Spirtualized
    System 7
    Extended Spirit
    Aphex Twin

I'm actually going to see Ott tomorrow night! definitely check him out, he's on of my favorite organic sounding psy artists

    absolutely love this song:

    and this one :D

  7. you think that was crazy?

LIVE shpongle at camp bisco this summer, it was INSANE...they never play as a live band in the US, it was legendary

it was raning, a bit if lightning, and LIVE shpongle...it was out of this world

i saw some kid next to me smoking a joint of deems, i was like ur crazy dude

i was way too close to the stage to smoke any deems, i need a good spot to sit down and chill if ima smoke that...2 doses was good enough for me lol

im trying soooo hard to see Ott with Kilowatts on friday, might go by myself

All excellent artists! A few there I have not heard of and will have to check out, thanks man. I would of posted more but the lack of response stopped me. Man, on a stoner forum, you would think everyone would love this shit haha

On a side note.. I will never forget my first time on unmentionables, had to come home earlier then expected and I was in my room alone when I decided to play the lone deranger album by hallucinogen. The song demention is just fucking beautiful.

Anywho, I have not checked this in awhile, glad some people have posted! some is better then none. Heres a few tracks, I love sharing :)

There was a thread on this already btw. It had 3 posts and was made years ago so rather then try to bring it back I made a new one. Some good artists mentioned there so for those interested here is the link (although you could easily find it) http://forum.grasscity.com/music-hall/511980-ambient-psychill.html

I know few people that listen to or even know of bluetech also... and none that had known of the music before being shown it by me.
If I can get my shit together then your friend might be hearing from me.

Before I go to sleep I gotta say though all you guys have heard of the fahrenheit project right? It is on itunes and has awesome songs on each album. I highly recommend it, here is a picture to grab peoples attention who may not read this cause it is a response to fireblaze :p
