Protection from frost... A question

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by SmokeMB, Sep 15, 2011.

  1. There is supposed to be frost here the next few mornings. Will moving them to my covered porch be sufficient enough to negate frost damage, or do the plants really need to be covered? Or should I just bring them into the garage? If I do that, should I put a fan on them for circulation? Thanks for any advice guys!

  2. Put them in your garage if you can, fans are not really needed if no lights are on. Where you at again.. Ohio?

  3. I would say the garage is the best bet. I don't think a fan would be necessary and could actually cool them down more in the wrong situation. I have an old storage shed that I'm moving them into during the evenings when frost starts being a threat. It will be a pain to haul them in and out every day but, it will be worth it when I have so much harvest. :)

  4. throw them in the garage just make sure the windows are covered. iv had to do this before, but i use a shed. they can actually go a bit further then frost if you take them in and out everyday.

great way to finish a plant that needs a extra week
