Thinking of soldering my wires to the connector I only need about 2 weeks to finish my grow Just dont know if HLG wants me to send the board back Anyone ever had warranty issues with HLG? What size wiring were you using? Did the connector break off while you were adjusting the lights? Were you using any sort of strain relief to ensure the wire wasn't putting pressure on the connector? I've seen a few pics of people using 16awg wire but with no strain relief and i always wonder how well the connectors would hold up if the boards or wires get moved around. Sorry to hear about that... Hope you're able to get it sorted. Have you posted this in the QB96 thread here to see if anyone has an easy fix or to see if they had any luck getting HLG to help out?

Did you have a fan on the heat sink ? I would call horticulture Lighting Group I dealt with them yesterday on a order the box broke open and the screws were lost . It wasn't a problem ..

Likewise, I'm intetested to know how it goes down. I bought my "Elite 360" from a vendor because it was a bit cheaper than going direct but i was a bit worried about whether the extra money might be worth the customer service, direct with HLG. Let us know how you make out.

Yes I pulled out the cheap boards to go with the 1 -96 that's going I made up some 16 gauge wires with heat shrink for plugs instead of 18 gauge and I'll try to solder the kne that's broken just dont want to screw it up totally After I finish this grow I'll put the 16 gauge wire on the other The 18 gauge solid is just to stiff Any other suggestions let me know I been wating 32 years until I retired 3 years ago not smoking so I like this growing for personal use So if anyone has suggestions for me and my growing let me know After 32 years not toking I deserve some good smoke Thanks Sent from my SM-G950U using Grasscity Forum mobile app

I have some doubts, I was wondering if a growth of 1.20x0.60x1h, would better support which qb without harming as plants and with quality lighting to produce good glues.
