Preservation

  1. I purchased 30 high quality fem seeds($200 worth) and I plan to grow them over the next few years depending on what happens to Alaska's Marijuana Laws and how much I can plant at a time without anyone noticing. If you do the math, each of these seeds is worth $6 and that is ofc a rediculous amount of money to be paying for seeds. Now, how do I preserve these seeds well so that I don't have to worry about losing more than half of my investment?

  2. keep them in a cool, dry, dark place and they should last for years.

  3. Yeah, that should do it.

Nature has done a fantastic job of making seeds very durable and stable little packages.

Scientists have sprouted Barley seeds found in an Egyptian Pharo's tomb. Those seeds were kept in a cool (sort of, it is Egypt after all), dry, dark place for just over 3000 years.

I have friends who have sprouted MJ seeds that they got in bags years ago. In fact one of my plants is from some bag seed I got a couple of years ago, just had it and a few others, sitting in an empty film canister on a shelf since I got them.
