Welcome to my CGE (closed growing environment) photo journal I will be keeping a basic log of information and pictures here; feel free to comment or ask questions. \n-------------------------------------------------------------------------- The plan for this operation is to perpetually harvest 6 plants once a month prioritizing environmental stability and sterility. I intend to keep six to eight coco-potted mothers top-fed in an ebb&flow tray under a 4' 8x T5HO fixture, a 36 site aeroponic cloning station under a CFL bulb, six 3.5 gallon site RDWC system under a 4' 8x T5HO fixture for vegging, (2x) six 5 gallon site RDWC systems each under a 600W HPS on movers for flowering. The veg and flower rooms will be completely sealed from foreign air; both rooms will share the same volume of controlled air that will be exchanged between the rooms as necessary. "Fresh" air will be available when crucial. Control equipment: a dedicated computer running Growtronix control program, backup battery for computer and air pumps, window AC, water chillers, carbon can filter, several oscillating and centrifugal fans, humidifier, dehumidifier, pressurized CO2, negative ion generator, UV air sterilizer, motorized dampers for emergency fresh air/exhaust Area: 2-entry 13' x 10.5' bedroom with 3.25' x 5' bi-fold closet, 8' ceiling Divisions: 13' x 3.75' equipment corridor, 3.9' x 6.5' vegetation room, 8.5' x 6.5' flowering room with 3.25' x 5' extension (bi-fold doors removed) ------------------------------------------------ Walls are up and painted, doors are going in; ventilation and plumbing next - I'll get progress shots up shortly.
Framing: Drywall and smoothing (view into veg room): Walls painted and caulked, view of window AC positioned above flower room door: Getting the doors in - sheet metal kick guards in place: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some more sealing to do, and I'll get some finished partition pictures up. Next on the list is ventilation or electrical, lighting, then veg system plumbing.
