  1. usually ppm is set at 1000ppm and the res usually lasts a week. but 2 days before the week is over the ppm shoots up to 1400-1500 and now some of the leaves are starting to turn yellow. whats the problem here? i think it means they are sucking up more water than nutes? how do i make it so they suck up water AND nutes?

  2. A rising ppm usually means your ladies are overfed. How's the ph? Are you topping off the res with plain water as the level drops?

  3. Are u meant to top with fresh water as it drops?

Let it sit in an open bucket overnight about 3/4 full and use that to top your res(or use RO water).
