is it possible to reschedule jury duty the day you're supposed to go in and is it a big deal? i have a legitimate reason to postpone it that i didn't realize until now, the night before. help?
I'm pretty sure you cant postpone it you have to go. You can get out of it if you have something serious that conflicts with the time your meant to go in though, But i think you have to tell them a bit earlier lol. That's how it goes in my country anyway.
Well I read online in my state you can be let off if you call in sick before 9 am. I think I'm going to have to. I don't care if they reschedule but I can't go tomorrow.
Unless a family member actually died or your in the hospital your shit out of luck. Just go it's not that big a deal. If you are scheduled to work you get paid how ever much you would of anyway. I had to go a few years ago but the case was dismissed or whatever the day before.
