Anyone played Portal yet for PC or XBOX 360? It is part of the orange box with Half Life 2 Episode 2. I love HL2 as well as CS:S and ever since I saw the trailer for Portal I have been like a fiend waiting for crack. I even downloaded the original game that Portal is based off of, called Narbacular Drop. It is essentially the same game, only much much shorter and very basic graphics due to the fact it was made by a couple kids in school to become professional game developers. Well Valve hired them and now we have Portal! I am downloading both Portal and HL2 EP 2 now, but until then I found this game: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/404612 Check it out, it is a mother bitch as far as difficulty, but really damn fun, just like the real portal, only in 2D form.
Portal rocks! It was the first game I played when I got the Orange Box and I beat it in one sitting. Its so different from anything else out there now, its a great game. TF2 and Episode 2 are both really good as well. I played a whole lot of the beta of TF2 before Orange Box was out. And im about halfway through Episode 2.
portal is my favorite game this year, its like playing a twilight zone episode, the puzzles are fun, the story is both hilarious and freaky at the same time. IF you want to fully enjoy it I recommend getting orange box on your PC. portal really needs fast controls.
Portal was everything I look for in a game, good graphics, original gameplay, awesome humor, and an awesome boss fight to top it off.

Portal is at the top of my list for favourite puzzle game. The song at the end "Still Alive" is a masterpiece. A chunk of the song is below. "But there's no sense crying over every mistake. I'm down for CoD/UO/2, and BF2 anytime. I'll be getting a 360 for xmas so i'll be on CoD4 soon. Theres something about that portal song that almost brings me to tears... not in a bad way though
