Yeah, they're just spam bots that are some how making it around the spam filters. I wonder if maybe gnik drazil could work out some kind of filter based on the links they're posting or what have you... But he's got enough on his plate as it is, I'm sure. For the record, ya'll don't even realize how many spammers we were getting before gnik drazil got involved and kicked some spammer ass. There were soo many spammers every single day... soo many... Gnik rocked our fuckin' GC socks off taking care of that.

[/quote] I recognize how hard it is to keep these bots out...just a sign of the times they adapt to get in...im trying to campaign to keep the reports up...
Oh it's crazy, man. Even when you try to stop the spammers completely, there are still those few that register, make a dozen or so normal posts, and then "Hey, should I get my fiance this RING? [link to spammy site]" Spammers are gonna spam. Lot of 'em know their way around all the filters these days.

Before too long its gonna be Should I spend the money on this BONG And people are gonna click on it and BOOM! Im not a mod, nor in a position to be one anyway, but I am trying to do what I can by reporting and trying to organize awayness through my "Resistance" campaign.. I've gotten good feedback and rep but its not taking off as id hoped. Lol
There is a war going on between us developers and spam companies We are developing things to prevent those guys to spam our sites , they are developing things to bypass our security to spam all around.
Ok I was thinking what about some new temp mods to fight the spam I would be happy to and I'm sure some other older members would as well I'm on this site a lot I love it i think I'm a good member and try and try to benefit the city as much as I can I'd love to do more to stop the spam than just reporting it
