I things are going just as they should be. I heard Bill's "controversial" comment, and I can't believe such a big deal was made of it. Honestly, I had come to the same conclusion. Not to emphasize that American soldiers are cowards (which they most certainly are NOT), but to emphasize that anybody willing to stay in that plane while it hit those buildings is most certainly NOT a coward. I admire Bill for speaking his mind. I also admire the advertisers' decision to pull their sponsorship. I also admire the fact that we talk about all of it. It's just great for us all to be able to put in our 2 cents.
I watch it when I'm awake-I love the variety of people he has for the nites topics. It always makes for interesting debates and a different point of view that maybe I hadn't considered. I missed the comment, though. I always miss the good shit.
