Political Echolalia- A Diagnostic Guide

  1. ^Dan Carlin just ran a bit about this, he sited where a bank talked about how they were going to use the bailout money to grow further in the future. Basically use the money we gave them to instead loan it out but buy up failed banks and make huge returns. He talked about how Europe when they bailout they tell the banks that you have to loan the money, which we did not tell our banks to do.

Seriously, one-liners like this shit make me see the communists' point.

Evil? Poor middle class?! WHAT THE FUCK! There are poor-ASS people in Bangladesh! Locked into artificially cramped borders called "Bangladesh" by citizenship - a special membership practically written on their birth certificates. What you're worried about is selfish: losing your way of life.

What I'm worried about is us all losing our humanity.

Which matters more in the scheme of things?

We don't need to be part of classes. :( It's such an arrogant view of things.

I'd love to see you raise a hand against "the establishment"... oh boy would I cherish some serious action.

Privileges? I sure don't see being classified as an American to be a privilege. Human existence is a gift, so why do we fuck it up with labels and classifications and PRIVILEGE?

    Margaret Thatcher (Queen Statist)

  4. Textbook case, right here.

You do know, that's what the Nazis called themselves too, don't you?

I'd hate to go to sleep at night feeling as much hatred for anything as you obviously do for most everything. That is a gift from the Fuhrer, the ability to think insane levels of hatred will help you to remake the world in your desired image.

Enjoy your insanity, I'll be over here wondering how you got an X-ray of your own head.

Which children's story character is braver, or freer, Chicken Little, or The Boy who Cried Wolf?

So why do you write as if both of these are your life's role models?:D

  5. The Capitalist establishment, you mean?

"Destroys the middle class" is another way of saying growth of the income gap, a disproportionate spread of wealth to the upper class.

Central banking destroys third world countries as well. You should watch this documentary on how the IMF destroyed Jamaica called "Life & Debt". Under the guise of humanitarian assistance, we loan countries money with destructive stipulations attached. They must spend their loans on useless infrastructure and programs that benefit our contractors, all the while not improving their situation but only furthering their debt. The same can be said for dozens of other countries, such as Mexico, that rely on fiat US loans in order to continue paying interest on their debt. There is no cost to bankers to print money and make more loans, they only benefit from the increasing interest they receive.

This is all discussed further in Perkins' two books Confessions of an Economic Hitman and The Secret History of the American Empire, if you read non-fiction.

An arrogant view is to propose that we can live in a classless society. We are not all equals. You appear noble behind your naivety. You cannot make people equal, you can only treat them as equals. The central banking system does not allow for equal opportunity, which is essential for a prospering society.

The privileges I mention are our positive rights, such as health care and education. Our government is morally and financially bankrupt, our system of finance will not be respected by the world much longer. When we lose our spot as the reserve currency we will be in deep shit at home and abroad. I was only stating that we risk losing these privileges, they are not basic rights for all to enjoy. I actually threw that in there for you, because I know you don't believe in negative conspiracies. I supposed that they are hiding the truth to protect us from losing the privileges we receive, the privileges that keep us complacent.

I don't understand the relevance of your lyrics, but war is also a result of central banking. Without the hidden power of taxation provided by a floating currency a democratic peoples would never support bankrupting themselves on purposeless wars. Look at England post 'Glorious Revolution' when they got their first central bank, and look at America. We were never a warring nation until we got our big bank.

No, capitalism is a system based on capital. A fiat currency is not capital, it is a sleight of hand. People that rely on central banking, a tenet of communism, are socialist. Corporate socialism is also known as fascism.

Its funny people can still consider those who rely on government welfare as capitalists.

  7. My favorite is when people either quote an entire article or link to it without adding their two cents or opinion on the subject.

  8. Come on, that's a valid way to introduce a news item. I know sometimes my opinions on a subject are strong, and I don't want to begin the conversation with my perspective.

I see it as an opportunity what other communities members' first reactions are, and then a conversation can form.

  9. Every time I do something similar, although what I post first is usually a single sentence, I hear a little West Norwegian voice in my head saying softly... "fishing... fishing..."

I think it's disrespectful of you to suggest I'm more naïve than you. Think about that. When do I call you naïve? You are illustrating the very essence of arrogance with flippant remarks like that, even if it's what you truly believe.

You can't make all people equal, because you don't make people. People are born... and you know what? I've heard that life ain't fair. And, if that's the case, we'd better be doing our damned best to MAKE IT FAIRER. Otherwise we should shrivel up into little ball sacs and stop pretending our efforts mean a thing. I believe I'm trying my best, and I hope you can believe the same about yourself for your own sake.

You're obsessed with anything money, and I can't tell if that's because you're a greedy person or if it's because you truly are deluded into thinking wealth = happiness. I'd like to think it's the latter. If you think money is how things REALLY get done, and you don't like the game how it's being played, why do you participate in the scramble and then mutter belittling comments incessantly on an online forum? You won't single-handedly change this system, but you can single-handedly change yourself. I hope that someday you see the inner light (of your own humanity).

War is not caused by money. Just like money is not caused by money. They both have a similar origin: the dark side of man - the material side.

I hope you have a spiritual side, God damn it, I seriously do.

I don't believe in those privileges and rights you do. I believe in an innate respect for humanity and our home, Earth. I don't believe words will ever truly characterize our existence, our potential, or our freedoms.

I don't believe in blaming central banks and fiat currency. I believe in renouncing money as a civilization.

If you want to renounce money you will need to renounce labor, and the only way you can do that is through incredible technological advances that free man from having to work for survival. Even then, people would still use money for luxuries. I'm all for it, but until then we need a sound monetary policy that isn't manipulated for political gain.

I really don't get what your problem with me is, we seem to have the same goals for humanity. From a utilitarian perspective central banking is amoral, no matter how you look at it. You are speaking of aspirations far beyond anything we've achieved,,, I don't even know what you really want.

Just because I recognize money manipulation as the root of the exploitative class' power doesn't make me greedy.

  11. We do appear to have a similar goal. Nonetheless, classes are imaginary and a conservative designation. It's a status quo perspective to hold.

Humanity exists with and without money. I can't wait to be part of humanity without it.

  12. I wasn't referring to you, or anybody in particular. I just think it's somewhat lazy and/or cheap to link or quote somebody's entire article without elaborating on the topic or including your opinion. Especially with the format we're using to engage each other, an internet forum.

  13. Interestingly our only known mode of association as well.

  14. I don't know if classes are imaginary, in that its all in our heads.... But the power of the government is certainly wielded by the wealthiest groups, so lets call them the upper class because of their obvious control over those without vast wealth. From a quantitative perspective in our money based society, there are classes. Until we achieve another plane of existence, perhaps in the age of Aquarius, we have classes.

So would you agree with me that the Federal Reserve system perpetuates the class system by disproportionately serving the wealthier classes before the less wealthy class?

I don't know if you want to argue economics, but the effects of a central banking system, historically and presently, act in the favor of the elite. Inflation doesn't affect them, they benefit from booms and bust, they get free money... and then congressmen know the power granted by this unlimited cash box and everything becomes political and sold to the highest bidder... "too big to fail"...

I don't think you would hate money so much if it were regulated properly.

Bill Gates: elite or not? Steve Jobs: elite or not?

I think you don't understand where I'm coming from then.

  16. Yes, but not the kind that are dependent on the government so they are not as intertwined as others. For example the defense sector has the 'revolving door' aspect that the electronics industry does not. The electronics industry is largely left alone by government, thus prices decline as products improve.

Its not the first time, believe me. ;)

  17. That's ridiculous.

I need to say nothing just to show you've said nothing.

  18. I don't get where you get the audacity to claim Bill Gates is an Elitist

Are men who want more for the world elitist?

The work alone Bill Gates has done with those schools he has in the inner cities that see a 90% higher education rate are astronomical. By most he is considered this blood thirsty capitalist who eats the hearts of young children, but it is monopoly over OS on PC's that has allowed for computers to have a performance rate of doubling there capabilities every year. That means every year computers double there performance, no other medium can say that, and if it weren't for his monopoly on OS that would not happen.

Steve Jobs is an elitist, who over prices his trendy computers at the ability to be easy and culturally relevant. Steve Jobs is the capitalist, holding back the industry for only his gain.

  19. I'm sorry, who were you addressing? You didn't quote either me or aaronman.

  20. I was stating my opinion on whether Bill Gates was an Elitist, you said, "Bill Gates Elitist or no".

I gave my opinion on what he really is, do you disagree with that. Is he some capitalist mizer where goes around eating the hearts of children who sends slaves to do his bidding for him to make his OS, much like Andrew Carnegie with Fossil Fuels and Steel?

I think men like Bill Gates are doing the best with what they got, and the returns out of it are astronomical and what he has already given back to the world is astounding.

I think both of you are coming from two unrealistic extremes on the issue, so much so, that is why you can't come to terms on a realistic argument on this.
