I have 4 plants vegging in my closet Theyre about 4 weeks in and I wanted to put them into flowering next week. Well my question is about like LST, and topping and methods used to get a shorter bushier plant but i think I need a taller plant. My closet is like 2x2x6 The length and width and small but my closet is pretty tall Right now the 4 plants I have fit snug, there is some room to kind of spread them out more but right now some leaves are overlapping. Would it be best to made clip some of the large fan leaves to get more light the stem? I'm using cfl bulbs. Should I veg longer for a taller plant?
You don't want tall plants with CFLs, those lights don't have enough intensity to do the plant much good beyond a few inches away. Not too late to LST. One sq ft per plant should be enough space.
Well what if I have my top lights and then I have the 4ft tubes down the side? I just feel like it would be such a waste to not try to take advantage of the height especially when my space is already limited
