Please Help! Transplant problem (pics)

  1. Hello all!
I began my first grow mid-April and had a post in absolute beginners and got some good feedback from people. Hoping to get some more advice.

At first, I had two plants in one 2 gallon pot, so I decided to go ahead with a transplant into a different soil mix consisting of:
    -Organic potting soil
    -compost pure soil-started plant in
    -Perlite
    -an 8-8-8 fertilizer
-I also changed my lighting to 6 26w daytime CFLs for two plants

The transplant seemed to be a failure. After a couple hours the plant was completely wilting and after about 4 days i took it out of the grow room and left it outside, thinking it was dead.

After forgetting about the plant for a few more days, i checked it and it seemed to be regenerating itself. It has been on a 18/6 light schedule since then and is looking very healthy, green, and smells like chronic again.:hello:

MY Question: The plant lost several fan leaves (almost 3 sets) and has another set that is half dead but still hanging. So the plant's stem is very long. Is this going to be a problem because its top heavy? what would be the best thing for it at this point in time?

Also, i believe its almost time for sexing, if anyone has an idea of what it might be.

    Thanks GC!!!
