I have recently started research on growing and I have my grow room put together (will have picks later) and now I'm trying to understand the actual grow process. Idea #1: To use FF Ocean Forest and Jiffy pots for seedlings to Veg. Then transfer to 3 gallon pots for veg to flowering. Idea #2: To use FF Ocean Forest in a regular 3" square pot with about 1" of the bottom half pre-cut for easy transfer to a 3 gallon pot. (The pre-cut half will be removed and the top half of pot with dirt clod and plant will be placed on top of new pot with soil. *Should I add Perlite to FF soil or leave as is???
just use some whatever's laying around potting soil for seedlings... FFOF can be too hot and burn them... idea one sounds better for seedlings... though i do something similar to idea #2 for the final transfer from a 5 gal to trash can before flowering... and yea FFOF needs about 20% perlite...
