Plant problems...

  1. Hello,

Here is some info that may be useful.

    1. I have 13 plants.
    2. They are in 1/2 gallon grow bags with FF Light Warrior seedling starter soil.
    3. There was some early stretching due to bad weather and poor sunlight, but now they are doing very well.
    4. They are about 4 weeks old.
    5. They are currently getting 8-9 hours of direct sunlight everyday.

I recently checked my plants and I noticed that some of them (about 5) had brown leaf tips on the lower leaf sets. The newer/upper leaf sets showed no signs of browning on the leaves; the leaves are not curling. I added some chicken shit (4-4-2) and kelp meal (0-0.6-1.25) about four days ago. I put some of it in a bottle of water and shook it vigorously. There were no signs of browning four days ago. Is this nutrient burn or a nutrient deficiency? I didn't use very much at all, but I didn't measure it out. Both of the fertilizers are 100% organic.

I was looking at The Complete guide to Sick Plants,pH, and Pest troubles! - International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums and it looks like nute burn. The browning isn't bad at all, but I thought I should ask.

    Thanks

  2. Anyone?

  3. Without pics we can't reaally tell you any better. I'd think nute burn from your description, just hold off on adding any more nutes and see if it improves.

  4. it is probably nute burn from the description but it could also be a magnesium deficiancy. try getting a pic up.
