i believe the soil you are using is too "hot" for your plant - meaning that there are too many nutrients in that soil for your plant's stage of life. it may be of your best interest to find something with just peat moss, perlite, and dolomitic lime for pH stability (optional) to transplant into. you would want to knock off as much of the current soil as you possibly can without harming the plant. otherwise, if you dont transplant, i believe you will continue to have the same issues for quite some time until it matures...that could take an indefinite amount of time, plus it also puts your plant through unwanted stress. hope this helps
