Plant is drooping after flushing??

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by Blimmer, Aug 17, 2010.

  1. My Afghan Kush Ryder is at week 8 she was doing great under my new penetrator LED, I flushed it about a week ago and and I am just feeding her water, the plan being to do that until week 9 when I harvest her. The problem im having is she is drooping like she needs feeding. I was expecting the lower leaves to yellow as she sucks the nutes out but its not happening. Is this normal? do you think she will be ok for another week?

    Thanks in advance

  2. Blimmer,

Plants will droop if they are over watered also. If you are doing a soil grow, it's important to let your soil dry out considerably between waterings. Just as the leaves take in co2 to facilitate photosynthesis, the roots need oxygen to maintain health at the root level.

Try letting the pot dry out as much as possible, and since you only have about a week left, you should be okay.

    Welcome to Grasscity,
