  2. Heylo!

I personally have never been to Amsterdam. WHY am I responding then? I am an avid traveler and trip planner (Just ask TheColonel....) so I have experience with these types of things.....

Since I do not have the inside scoop... i thought id give you suggestions on how to get it.

My first suggestion is to go here:

    www.traveladviser.com
that website is my savior. EVERY TRIP I have planned the past few years has been planned based on the reviews on this site. REAL people rate REAL hotels and tours and such. HERE is the link to the amsterdam stuff on the site:

    http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g188590-Amsterdam_Noord_Holland-Vacations.html
Also lists the price and such. When you fiind a hotel you think you like- copy the name and paste it in google.com and the website for the hotel will more than likely come up.

Here are some other sites to get you started:
    http://www.onlineamsterdamguide.com
    http://www.amsterdam.info/
http://www.visitamsterdam.nl/ < this is somewhat offical.

i would also suggest going to AAA or the bookstore and purchasing a book about Amsterdam. It has the info on cafes and other fun things to do.

    ENJOY- and post pictures.

    Nite.
