so my plants r showin signs of a salt built up n I kno its from using tap water. I was wonderin if fixin the waters PH level b4 watering the PH. of the water is 8, but the soil is a nice 6. will this help and 4 future reference should I do this n e ways 4 my plants sake even if using filtered water?
Well, if your soil is indeed at 6, that's not too bad. A good range is 6.3-6.8 and yes, that extra .3 does help. How are you measuring the soil's ph, with the run-off water? If you are certain you Ph readings are accurate, then start flushing. Yes, you should be testing your plant's water often no matter what you're using.
