I just found some PH up and PH down at the Petsmart down my street... They say they're for aquariums, will they be fine to use with my plant? I'm concerned because one of the packages says that it contains sulfuric acid... not sure I want to use anything like that...
yea the PH up and PH down is not only for aquariums but instead it is used simply for water. it works great
If you're growing hydro, just put it into your res b4 changing. If you are growing soil, just add it to your water. Easy as that.
So I'm sure I should be searching for this answer, but I'll ask here anyways, what is the reccomended PH level? I'm not actually growing at the moment, but I'm curious... ~ Terpsichore
I think it was something like 5.3 - 5.9ish for hydro and around 7 for soil. Don't feel like looking up exact numbers right now, but that's in the ballpark.
