ph question!

    i fed tonight 4 babies in flood and drain. checked ph prior to feeding, the rez ph was nearly perfect at 5.8
    but my rockwool ph seems to want to stay at 6.8 to 7.0, and i am trying to get it down to about 6.0.
    measured with one of those cheep dial ph checkers from walmart and not showing a difference after feeding . Any imput would be great thankx.
