I wouldn't.. I tried smoking male tips recently and it was basically a waste of time.

 

At the point where the pollen sacs /clusters are just beginning to burst,and release pollen.

And ,yes,,go ahead smoke the stems,,,,,dizziness,headache ,,followed by queasy stomache,, may ensue following that little test sample....LOL...j/k...don't smoke the stems...toss 'em..
